Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Early Career Teacher to join our warm, forward-thinking primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT who is passionate about nurturing young learners, creating engaging learning experiences, and developing their teaching practice within a supportive and encouraging environment.

Location: Barnoldswick
Contract: Full-time,
Start Date: March 2026 (or earlier for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, stimulating lessons aligned to the KS1 curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and extracurricular activities

About You

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
