Early Years Teaching Assistant

Job Description 

I am currently working with an excellent Primary School in the Derby city centre area that is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start January 2020 and be available to trial within the next two weeks. This role will involve working o a 1:1 basis with two ASC children.  It is a fantastic opportunity for an Ofsted rated "good" school that prides themselves in striving to meet the needs of every individual. The role:

• Working with early years children with special education needs
• Ages 4-5
• Hours: 8:30-15:30
• 1:1
• You will be working with one child in the morning and the other child in the afternoon.

Requirements: 

• Previous Teaching Assistant experience or Care experience desirable 
• Experience working with ASC, MLD, SLD or physical disabilities
• Resilient, enthusiastic and nurturing personality 
• Taking initiative 
• Be able to travel or live the central Derbyshire area
