Job description

About the role

-Nursery / Early Years Teaching Assistants required, any days from Monday to Friday 840-1520

-Required to work in a very busy early years setting, with over 30 children. It is extremely well run by a hardworking team who are well organised, and work exceptionally well as  a group

-This school sometimes requires cover in advance which we will always try and give you, or they can call on the same day for cover so we are looking for a flexible workforce who can support us at short notice too

-Pay rate starts at £89.38 per day

-Excellent transport links by bus, train and access to free parking

The school offers strong support for pupils with additional learning needs (ALN), including effective provision for emotional and social well-being. All staff have clear expectations for pupils, and this ensures that they behave well and engage purposefully in lessons. As a result, most pupils make strong progress during their time at this wonderful school

About you

-Previous experience of working within Early Years

-KS1 experience advantageous but not essential

-You will be required to help with personal care

-You must have a can-do attitude and hands on approach in regards to working as part of a large team within a busy Nursery

-You will also need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

-To be put forward for this role, you would need to undergo a 30-minute face to face registration with Teaching Personnel which would include reference and DBS checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
