Early Years Teaching Assistant
Would you like to support children during the start of their education journey? Are you compassionate and nurturing, with a love for learning?
Teaching Personnel are proud to be recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant on behalf of a partner school in Lytham.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide general classroom support within the EYFS setting
-
Assist pupils with communication and language development, including small group and 1:1 interventions
-
Help children adapt to the school environment and routines
-
Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support pupil progress
-
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning atmosphere
About You:
-
Experience working with EYFS children in a school or nursery setting
-
Knowledge of speech and language support strategies is highly desirable
-
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or EYFS qualification) are advantageous

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
