A primary school in Darwen is recruiting for a long-term Teaching Assistant to provide support in their Reception class. The details of the role is as follows:

Level 2 Early Years (EYFS) Practitioner

-          To provide full-time support within their Reception class

-          To start September 2023

-          Long-term temp to perm contract

-          Relevant L2 qualification or above required

-          Prior experience in a Nursery or Reception class is essential

This role may be suited to: Nursery Nurses, Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Specialist Support Assistants, Classroom Support Assistants, Nursery Teachers, Nursery Assistants, Early Years Practitioners, Pupil Support Workers, Early Years Graduates and Primary Teachers.

The school is Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’. The leadership team has maintained the good quality education in the school. Staff and governors share high expectations and aspirations for pupils. Pupils flourish in a safe and nurturing atmosphere embodied by the school ethos. Parents and carers speak very positively about the school and pupils’ and attitudes to learning are exemplary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
