Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience from September?

Teaching Personnel is working with a range of specialist SEN and SEMH schools seeking enthusiastic and adaptable ECTs to support pupils across a variety of subjects. Whether you're looking for daily supply, short-term placements, or longer-term opportunities, we can help you find a role that suits your career goals and availability.

This is an excellent opportunity to build confidence, develop your teaching practice, and gain experience working with children and young people with additional needs in supportive educational settings.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, depending on your specialism and school requirements.
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and wider school communities.
  • Choose from flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term assignments.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an ECT due to qualify before September.
  • A positive, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • An interest in supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • A willingness to work across different schools and age groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
