Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Economics and Business looking to kick-start your teaching career in a dynamic and forward-thinking school?

Our client, a successful and inclusive academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Economics and Business ECT to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to gain valuable experience within a supportive department and develop professionally in a school that champions enterprise, critical thinking, and academic success.

About the Role:

  • Teaching Economics and Business at KS4 and KS5 (depending on specialism and timetable)

  • Designing engaging, relevant, and inclusive lessons that bring business concepts to life

  • Collaborating with a knowledgeable and innovative department

  • Taking part in a structured ECT induction programme with dedicated mentoring support

  • Accessing high-quality CPD and career development pathways

About You:

  • A qualified teacher of Economics and/or Business (or due to qualify by July 2025)

  • Passionate about your subject and committed to fostering student interest in the world of work, finance, and global enterprise

  • Able to deliver inclusive and impactful lessons that meet the needs of all learners

  • A reflective practitioner who values collaboration and continuous improvement

  • Willing to support whole-school enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities related to business and enterprise
