Music & Drama Teacher Required

Location: Staines, Surrey

Pay- To Scale

Start- September 2025

Fixed term contract from September 2025 - December 2025.

 

Job Details:

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Music & Drama Teacher to join our teaching team at Teaching Personnel, delivering high quality Music and Drama lessons within a supportive and ambitious learning environment.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and creative Music & Drama Teacher to join a well-qualified and effective team of teachers in Staines-upon-Thames.

You’ll be a well-rounded Music practitioner with the ability to deliver both theory and performance aspects of the subject, in line with wider curriculum requirements, ensuring class achievement is raised and sustained.   You would teach from Nursery - Year 6.

You would also be required to teach Drama to Year 1 - Year 6.  An understanding of what is expected is desired.

Job requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant specialist qualifications and subject experience (e.g BA Hons degree in a Music or a Musical Theory-related field)
  • Ability to deliver Music and Drama lessons to a high standard
  • Understanding of curriculum requirements for Music & Drama
  • Exemplary communication skills for a range of abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
