Drama Teacher

Are you an experienced Drama teacher ready to inspire and engage young minds? An Outstanding secondary school in Plymouth is seeking a passionate and skilled Drama teacher to join their dynamic faculty from September 2025 on a full-time basis. This position is initially until Christmas, with potential for extension.

About the Role:

• Deliver high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Full planning and preparation required

• Contribute to the school's vibrant performing arts culture

• Inspire creativity and confidence in students through performance and theory

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Proven experience teaching Drama at secondary level

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills

• Passionate about fostering creativity and student engagement

• Committed to maintaining the high standards of an Outstanding school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
