Teacher of Drama- Full Time- April 2026 start- B8 based secondary school

 

Are you an inspiring and passionate drama teacher seeking a new full time role?

The team at Teaching Personnel are in collaboration with an excellent mainstream secondary school based in the B8 area of Birmingham to appoint a drama teacher on a full time basis.

 

Hours: Full Time- Mon-Fri (term time only)

Rate of pay: To scale (MPS/UPS)

Location: Birmingham, B8

 

If you:

- hold a UK QTS for drama

- have relevant, recent experience teaching Drama within a UK secondary school

- have a bachelors degree in Drama or performing arts

- have excellent school-based references

- can commit to a full time Drama teaching role

We are seeking confident Drama teachers who can:

- Effectively plan and deliver Drama lessons which engage all pupils and encourage active participation from all pupils

- Support students with additional learning requirements and ensure they feel involved

- Prepare students for GCSE drama exams to a high standard

- Provide constructive feedback to support pupils with their progress

- Organise and deliver extracurricular activities, including school productions, Drama clubs and external trips

-Inspire pupils through a range of creative teaching methods, encouraging self expression

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
