Drama Graduate

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit Drama graduates that are now looking to gain paid secondary school based work experience for the remainder if the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain regular yet flexible work within secondary schools across Bolton and Wigan.

If you are interested in a career as a teacher in the future then this is an ideal introduction to a paid role that will strengthen your application to a teacher training course in the near future.

  • Drama Graduate - Work available immediately
  • Temporary position with employment for the remainder of the year (2018/2019)
  • Opportunity to work within a number of supportive secondary schools that will look to aid your personal development.
  • Earn between £1000 -£1300 a month whilst learning key skills.

This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive secondary school where you will have the opportunity to gain experience, develop key skills that and be able to put them into practice within the classroom, all of which will contribute to becoming an 'Outstanding' teacher of the future.

The role will incorporate working closely with experienced class teachers providing support to ensure lessons operate smoothly, whilst giving you the opportunity develop key skills that will be crucial later in your career.

What does the role involve?

  • Working closely with across the full subject range (Supporting them with the setup of each lesson, assisting with planning and ensuring that lessons operate smoothly.)
  • Working with small groups of identified pupils to raise attainment of pupils within the school.
  • Covering classes in the absence of the class teacher in Drama and other subject areas.
