September start – Term time only – full time - King’s Lynn area

Teaching Personnel is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join one of our valued SEN partner schools in King’s Lynn. The school is seeking a committed and experienced professional to take on the role of a designated safeguarding lead. The school caters for children who for various of reasons cannot or do not attend mainstream school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage safeguarding and child protection concerns
  • Assist staff with reporting and addressing child protection issues
  • Maintain accurate safeguarding records and ensure timely reporting in line with national guidance
  • Attend meetings for identified pupils and represent the school’s safeguarding views
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external professionals
  • Provide staff training and ensure updates from Keeping Children Safe in Education are effectively implemented

The Ideal Candidate:

✔️ Passionate about supporting and safeguarding young people and children

✔️ DSL trained.

✔️Previous DSL experience.  
✔️ DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
✔️ Proactive, enthusiastic, and ready to make a difference!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
