Design Technology Technician

Are you a Design Technology specialist (Graduate or TA) looking for a Technician role? Or perhaps you're a trained technology teacher looking to take a step back?

Do you have experience cutting and preparing wood and materials? Are you able to order and weigh out food for a range of Technology lessons?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in Salford who are looking to appoint a full-time Technician ASAP. Due to a staffing gap, this position is ongoing and may continue until the end of the academic year.

As a Design Technology Technician, your duties will include:

• preparing, setting up and checking equipment
• supporting teaching staff and students during lessons
• putting away equipment after lessons
• ensuring a safe environment
• organising and storing equipment and checking stock
• repairing, maintaining and modifying equipment 
• previous experience in a school in preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
