One of Teaching Personnel’s client school based within Middlesbrough are currently recruiting for full-time temporary Maths teacher to start as soon as possible until the Easter break. 

The role would involve planning and delivering Maths lessons across the age range, from KS3 through GCSE and A-Level. The teacher will need to be responsible for tracking attainment levels and relaying this information to the head of department. The school need somebody to start as soon as possible with a view to working full-time until the school’s Easter break with the possibility of this being extended beyond the contract date until the end of the school year.

  • Pay based on main pay scale ranging from: MPS1: £25,714 - MPS6: £36,961 per annum   depending on experience.
  • Must have QTS in Maths.
  • Ability to deliver to GCSE (Essential) and A-Level (Desirable).

The ideal candidate would be confident within a classroom setting and will posses strong behaviour management skills along with the innate ability to construct positive working relationships with both staff and students. As is expected with all teaching roles, the candidate will need a full understanding of the Safeguarding process and should always place the welfare of each student as a priority.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
