Design & Technology Teacher with Graphics or Resistant Materials specialism

We are currently seeking a Teacher of Design & Technology for our partner School, based in Chichester. The School is looking to fill an open vacancy within their Design and Technology Department, to support across the Tech specialisms but particularly in either Graphics or Resistant Materials depending on the specific skills of the applicant. The role is to start in January '20, and could go perm for the right candidate.

The ability to teach at KS3 & KS4 is a pre-requisite of the role, as is experience in teaching recent UK curriculum. The role will require the successful Candidate to contribute to the strong record of results achieved by the Department, as well as the Schools journey to 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. As a Teacher at the School you should be enthusiastic and positive about the students and their learning, as well as an effective behaviour manager able to innovate to drive student engagement. Classes at the School are mixed ability so a flexible teaching style is needed to achieve consistent results.

The School is a large, mixed Secondary with a cohort aged between 11 and 18 years, so there is scope to teach your specialism at KS5. The Department is well-resourced and the subject is taught in state-of-the-art Teachnology labs. The School itself is part of a wider academy trust and network of local schools, who regularly share best practise and promote staff engagement in their CPD programmes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
