Job description

An Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school towards the outskirts of Plymouth require a Design and Technology -Resistant Materials Teacher to teach throughout key stage 3 and 4 on a full time basis. This school and department have a tradition of academic excellence, high aspirations and are very keen to welcome a resistant materials teacher who will bring their own talents and ideas to the team.

This DT teaching job is a temporary job to start immediately and will continue on an on-going basis.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a PGCE qualification, ideally with QTS
  • Recent experience teaching Resistant Materials
  • Work with an established and enthusiastic DT department to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons
  • Ideally have a DBS on the update service
  • Newly qualified teachers and Further Education teachers also considered
