Design and Technology Teacher
South East England, Berkshire, Reading
£140 - £220 per day
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative design and technology lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience
- Stay up to date with developments in design and technology education
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Design and Technology or related field
- Experience teaching design and technology at secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of design and technology curriculum
- Effective classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Regular school hours with additional time required for lesson planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
