Teacher of Technology (KS3–KS4)

BB4 Area, Lancashire
September 2026 – December 2026 (Fixed-Term)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Teacher of Technology to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire. This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting in September 2026 through to December 2026.


The Role

  • Teach Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire creativity and independent thinking
  • Support students in developing technical skills across areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or related disciplines
  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress in line with school expectations
  • Contribute positively to the wider department and school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Technology at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for practical learning
  • The ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
  • A flexible and proactive approach to teaching

This role would suit both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs) available for a short-term assignment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
