Design and Technology Teacher – Full Time – September Start
Location: Poole | Key Stages: 3 & 4
A forward-thinking secondary school in Poole is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Design and Technology Teacher to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to become part of a highly supportive and well-established department in a school that values creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
The Design and Technology department is extremely well-equipped, offering students access to outstanding facilities and modern resources that support a broad and engaging curriculum. From state-of-the-art workshop spaces to CAD/CAM technology, the department provides an ideal environment for both teaching and learning.
Staff at the school enjoy a strong sense of community and collaboration. The successful candidate will be joining a team of experienced professionals who are committed to nurturing students’ skills and encouraging innovation across all areas of Design and Technology.
This role would suit either an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge or an ambitious ECT ready to take their first step in a dynamic and supportive setting. A specialism in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or similar would be welcomed.
The successful candidate will:

Have QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4

Be passionate about inspiring students through creative and practical learning

Contribute to a positive and collaborative departmental culture

Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
