Title: Secondary DT Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic people to work in a thriving Hull secondary school as an DT Teacher. Helping Students and working with children on an individual, small-group, or whole-class basis. If you are a recent graduate and are looking to enter the world of teaching in a supportive working environment this may be the role for you.

The role itself focuses on:

·       Planning lessons in DT and Design at a basic Secondary level and an advanced GCSE level

·       Delivering engaging DT lessons, catering to the diverse needs of students, while ensuring an inclusive and exciting learning environment, whilst also catering to the given curriculum

·       Supporting students in their Learning as well as the engagement of the students in the subject, helping students with practical lessons and ensuring the safety of the students

The successful candidate will be flexible, have a minimum education level of an DT Degree (in any Relevant Design and Technology transferable subjects) and an in-date DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one at the point of consideration for the role. With a strong subject knowledge as well as a passion for Design and Technology
