About the role

Design and Technology Teacher

Location – Camborne

Contract Type – Full Time, Temporary (32.5 hours)

Working Hours – 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Starting – October 2025

Salary - £168.80 - £232.57 per day

Key Responsibilities

-          Deliver Design and Technology lessons to KS3 & KS4

-          Deliver engaging lessons

-          Contribute to the Design and Technology department

-          Work closely with all teachers to put the correct action plans in place for learners

-          Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

-          Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

-          Design and Technology specialist

-          Previous teaching experience

-          Strong communication skills, dealing with both parents/guardians and students

-          Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

-          Safeguarding Level 2 (Not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
