Looking for pre-booked work? Supply work that can get you into a number of local primary schools.

*QTS is essential*

Lots of intervention opportunities!

We offer a bespoke service aimed at understanding your requirements and matching them to suitable roles within schools we work closely with. We are currently working with a number of primary schools in the Blackburn with Darwen area including BB1, BB2 and BB3. The Head teachers I work with are looking for quality practitioners to deliver full class teaching and also deliver intervention sessions on a part time or ad hoc basis. I am looking for teachers who are happy to do day to day work a number of local schools varying from 'Outstanding' to 'RI'. We offer work in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 so it is important that you have experience in working across these year groups and the knowledge of individual curriculum areas.

Applicants must be hard working and enthusiastic about teaching across the curriculum with a passion and focus on raising children's attainment. Teaching Personnel will always ensure a variety of local work is offered to you and you are given as much time as possible to get to school and prepare yourself for the day. We will also offer advice and information on the school catchment area to ensure you are 100% comfortable in going into school; in order to apply applicants must have QTS. Rates of pay are competitive for roles of this nature and vary from £90 - £130 per day.

Whether you are a Retired Teacher looking to keep your foot in the door or you're an NQT looking to broaden your experiences - we want to hear from you! Please see our positive 'Google Reviews' written by staff that work for us in the area - to view these please Google 'Teaching Personnel Preston Branch'.

"I came here when I left my permanent teaching post. Genuinely, it was the best decision I have ever made. I didn't need to join another agency, whenever I wanted to work, I was out. The staff put the individual first and ensure that your needs are met. Thank you Steve, Howard and Chloe for being amazing. They found me my dream job and I am the happiest I've ever been. Join this agency."

"I have been with Teaching Personnel Preston for some years now - having previously tried other agencies. They have been outstanding - in my view this is the best agency. Their friendly support has been consistently impressive - with regular contact to see how I am doing."

"Absolutely fantastic agency!! After reading reviews I decided to put my details in and I was contacted very shortly after. Very professional staff and take time to get to know you and what you want from work"

Our Primary School Team at Teaching Personnel is made up of four experienced Recruiters who will endeavour to listen to work to suite you. If you are keen to get your face out there in Lancashire schools, please don't hesitate to contact Chloe on or call 01772 842154, I look forward to hearing form you.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
