Dance & PE Teacher – Secondary School (Chorley)
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Contract Dates: 5th January – 28th February 2026
Full-Time Position
A dynamic secondary school in Chorley is seeking a passionate and versatile Dance & PE Teacher to join their team for a full-time, short-term contract starting in January 2026.
About the Role:
You’ll be delivering engaging lessons across both Dance and Physical Education to KS3 and KS4 students. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and strong classroom management skills, supporting students in both practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Dance and PE across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons
- Support students in developing physical skills, creativity, and confidence
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events where appropriate
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Dance, PE, or Performing Arts
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
