Location: BS3, Bristol
Start Date: ASAP
Days: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £130–£150 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming primary school in the BS3 area of Bristol is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to lead a small class of pupils with beginner-level SEN needs, ranging from Early Years to Year 6. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire children, nurture their development, and provide engaging, tailored learning experiences.
The Role

Teach a small, mixed-age SEN class (EYFS–KS2) with a focus on individualised learning

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet a wide range of needs and abilities

Adapt teaching strategies quickly to respond to the needs of the moment

Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and parents to support every child’s progress

Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in a nurturing environment
What We’re Looking For
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN (essential)

A flexible and creative approach to teaching, able to think on your feet

Experience across primary age groups (EYFS to KS2)

Strong behaviour management and the ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
