Creative SEN Teacher - Primary

Location: BS3, Bristol

Days: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £130–£150 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming primary school in the BS3 area of Bristol is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to lead a small class of pupils with beginner-level SEN needs, ranging from Early Years to Year 6. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire children, nurture their development, and provide engaging, tailored learning experiences.

The Role

• Teach a small, mixed-age SEN class (EYFS–KS2) with a focus on individualised learning

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet a wide range of needs and abilities

• Adapt teaching strategies quickly to respond to the needs of the moment

• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and parents to support every child’s progress

• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in a nurturing environment

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN (essential)

• A flexible and creative approach to teaching, able to think on your feet

• Experience across primary age groups (EYFS to KS2)

• Strong behaviour management and the ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to achieve their potential
