Teaching Personnel look after a wide range of primary schools in the Bodmin, Liskeard and surrounding areas and we need more Teaching Assistants to help with the demand for long-term cover.
We are seeking teaching assistants who are available 3 to 5 days per week and who are able to cover medium to long-term posts (anything from 4 weeks to whole terms of work). We are contacted daily by local primary schools who require experienced teaching assistants to cover sickness, interventions/boosters and to offer additional support to children with SEN or behaviour needs. We have requests for all year groups so can facilitate candidates with a range of experience.
We'd like to hear from you if:
- You have experience working within a primary school setting
- You have experience supporting children with additional needs in a care or support setting
- You are seeking from 3 to 5 days per week
- You would be open to working on a longer-term basis within a school
- You have excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- You are able to confidently support children with challenging behaviour
We can offer:
- Flexible work with access to your own online diary
- Work within your most local schools
- Experience working with new age groups/supporting different forms of SEN
- Dedicated consultants to help you in securing the work you are looking for
- Access to online CPD
- Support from the market leading education supply agency
If you live in Bodmin, Liskeard or within any surrounding areas and you are seeking work as a Teaching Assistant, please get in touch. We would love to have an initial chat with you to establish what work you are looking for, what experience you have and what your aspirations are for the academic year 2020/2021. Please email poppy.pellow@teachingpersonnel.com with a copy of your CV and a contact number or apply below.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training.
