Are you passionate about education and want to make a difference to young lives? Are you dedicated to your work and want to see others achieve? We are looking for confident and motivated individuals for general cover work in Schools in and around the North Dorset area. 

One school in particular caters for young people between the ages of 7-19 with Autism and associated difficulties. They are looking for Cover Supervisors/Unqualified Teachers to join their team. 

The right candidate should:

  • Be resilient and have good behaviour management skills within the classroom
  • Be organised and have knowledge of school routines
  • Have previous experience teaching or tutoring
  • Have experience with SEN or a strong understanding 
  • Understand the National Curriculum and have the ability to teach it confidently 
  • Be able to hold good relationships with staff, students and parents
  • Be flexible across year groups and adapt to different situations where necessary
  • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
