Cover Supervisor - Oldham - September 2018 - Full Time
There is currently an open vacancy for a Cover Supervisor in Oldham to help relieve the need for external supply needs and to assist with the efficient running of different departments within the school.
We are seeking applications from candidates with recent experience working in a secondary school environment and are able to commit to full time cover supervisor hours in the upcoming academic year. We would particularly like to hear from you if you have experience working with a range of SEN or SEMH needs, or if you have strong behaviour management skills and relatable experience.
- Full time position working as a Cover Supervisor, starting in September 2018
- Working at a large modern secondary school in Oldham with state of the art facilities
- Paid up to £1300 a month, dependent on experience
Due to the school requiring a large amount of external cover this academic year, the school have decided to employ a cover supervisor on a full time basis to reduce the need for external support. The incoming cover supervisor must have previous experience working in a secondary environment and be confident holding the following responsibilities:
- Covering absences across all subject areas, dependent on the needs of the department (the work will already be set for the class)
- Ensuring work is completed to a good standard and returned to appropriate member of staff
- Delivering strong behaviour management to the class, ensuring pupils adhere to school rules and behave in a correct manner
- Supporting pupils on their individual needs, whether these are educational, emotional, physical or behaviour related.
Our client school is located in Oldham, close to major transport links and a short drive from the Hollinwood junction off the M60 ring road. The school have recently had a large financial investment, including a massive refurbishment, ensuring both the student and staff can benefit from outstanding provisions for learning and state of the art facilities throughout.
