Cover Supervisor roles are ideal for graduates who are looking to build up their experience before pursuing a career in teaching, or for undergraduates who are currently studying a specific curriculum subject and are seeking a part-time position to fit around their university course.

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor who will be able to develop and deliver high quality and positive learning experiences to all pupils across the school in Huddersfield. We want Cover Supervisors who have a driven passion towards children and education, and will be able to build good trusted relationships towards everyone in school.

The role of a Cover Supervisor will involve-

• Leading and managing the classroom
• Delivering pre-planned work
• Managing pupils behaviour by following the schools behaviour policies
• Maintaining a safe and tidy classroom
• Ensuring pupils are on task with the work they have been set
• Having previous experience of teaching in schools, or supporting lessons with children in an educational setting of some sort
• Having a DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one
