Join a vibrant secondary academy to support students across years 7 – 11. This role is ideal for anyone with teaching experience or confident graduates looking to pursue a career in education.

The successful cover supervisor will lead whole classes in the short term absence of teachers, working with students across years 7 – 11 across a variety of subjects. They will oversee the smooth running of lessons by supporting students with any queries, managing behaviour and ensuring that all of the pre set work is completed.

To apply for this role, candidates must have experience working with young people in an educational setting or be a graduate looking to pursue a career in teaching.

This large secondary academy has been on an excellent journey in recent years and has been locally and nationally recognised for its significant improvements. In a recent Ofsted report, the academy was judged to be ‘Good’ with a strong and determined leadership team. Due to recent investments, the school now has excellent state of the art facilities including modern well resourced classrooms.

For those on public transport, the academy is easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. For those who drive, the academy is located a 20 minute drive from the city centre.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
