Teaching Personnel are currently in the process or recruiting graduates, teaching assistants, teachers and experienced cover supervisors who now wish to gain flexible work in the Wigan LEA.

Currently we are working with schools across Wigan supporting them with daily staffing requirements and providing staff members who are able to cover lessons where a teacher is absent.

This opportunity is perfect for anyone that is looking to gain experience in a secondary school setting or for an experienced member of staff to increase their current workload.

Teaching Personnel are specialists in education recruitment and will offer support to lesser experienced staff members to ensure each staff member is fully trained and prepared before entering the classroom.

We offer state of the art CPD training such as our in-house ‘Become a Cover Supervisor Course’ which is ran by former teachers with an abundance of experience in the classroom environment.

As a cover supervisor you will be expected to be a confident individual who is able to lead lessons and manage classroom behaviour effectively. It is crucial that you are able to engage with students within the school and show flexibility when covering various lessons and subjects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
