Hours: Flexible hours

Daily rate: £57 - £70 per day

The Business Manager of a secondary school in the centre of Leyland is looking to appoint three Cover Supervisors to start in September and October 2019. This contract is a 1 year contract working within the school, covering various lessons and supporting children aged 11 - 16 years old.

The school is smaller than average and is close to the centre of Leyland, with plenty of public transport links, as well as on site parking for those who drive. The school are commended for having a small community feel, creating a family like atmosphere. For this position you must have some experience working with children / young adults.

As a cover supervisor, you will be expected to cover a range of subjects within school, in the event of an absent classroom teacher. The work will already be set by the classroom teacher, you would then present this work to the class, and supervisor the pupils as well as answer any questions that they may have and follow the behaviour policy, set by the school.

This role is very flexible as you can work from 2 to 5 days a week, depending on your availability. This position is perfect for aspiring teachers, candidates wanting to gain experience in secondary schools before studying for their PGCE, or to simply work with and help children.
