This opportunity is ideal for graduates looking to gain paid work experience prior to considering a teacher training course.

  • Cover Supervisor (Full-time, part-time and flexible working hours available).
  • Work available within secondary schools across Salford now and in September.
  • Earn up to GBP350 per week!
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons covering a teacher’s absence/sickness to gain experience in a classroom.
  • Perfect for individuals whose circumstances can change on a daily basis and therefore, require flexible work.
  • Gain invaluable experience prior to teaching training programmes.

Working as a cover supervisor in our client school will involve covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers alongside, supporting a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.

To work as a Cover Supervisor in our client school, you must have transferrable experience to work with children/young people. You do not need a teaching qualification to work as a cover supervisor.

Our client school is located in Salford and can be accessed via the A580 and M60 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Bolton and Leigh. For non-drivers, schools are accessible via several public transportation links from surrounding areas of Salford.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
