Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor or aspiring teacher of the future looking for work in September?

If so, then Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a team of Cover Supervisors on behalf of one of our client Secondary school in Bolton. The school are offering employment for the first term initially however due to the nature of the work; there will be an opportunity for this to be extended and for you to continue beyond this period.

As a Cover Supervisor working for Teaching Personnel you can expect your monthly earnings to be from £1000 - £1200 a month.

• Full-time Cover Supervisor role starting in September 2018
• 1 term initially with a view for further employment - either full time or flexible working hours
• Typical earning is £1000-£1200 a month
• Working with children aged 11-16 - covering all subject areas with pre-set work
• Support provided from teaching staff and Heads of Department

As a Cover Supervisor working within our client Secondary school you will be covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, and the work will be pre-set for you by the absent teacher. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all students are behaving appropriately, are engaged throughout the class and completing the work that has been set by the teacher. You will have the opportunity to work in a number of departments covering a range of lessons such as core subjects; Maths, English and Science.

It is important that you are able to teach the pre-set lessons in a confident manner and that you can manage the classroom well.

Our client Secondary school based in Bolton is larger than other Secondary schools in the area and currently has approximately 1000 pupils on roll. Pupils within the school respect their mentors and peers and enjoy good relationships with members of staff.

Located just a few miles from the local train station and just a short drive from the M60 the school is in an ideal location and can be accessed from surrounding areas; Bury, Salford, Wigan and Manchester.
