Cover Supervisor

A school in Salford is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join the team on a temporary basis.

The role will focus on the delivery of lessons on a rolling 'Cover ' basis.

With the school beginning their re-integration of pupils back into the mainstream process, a Cover Supervisor is requirewd to cover for teaching staff who are having to isolate/shield due to the ongoing pandemic.

We welcome applications from:

• Individuals with secondary school experience.
• Graduates looking to bolster their secondary school experience before a potential PGCE.
• Those with experience in working with children of secondary school age (Youth Workers/Tutors are encouraged to apply)

It is expected that the required individual will:

• Be able to cover lessons and deliver pre set lesson plans/tasks across a range of subjects.
• Be able to confidently manage behaviour as well as effectively deal witha any pastoral issues awhen they arise.
• Have the necessary skills to engage students in the classroom as well as ensuring that school policy is adhered to at all times. 
• Display an approachable and friendly attitude both in the classroom as well as across the school site.
• Manage to monitor attainment and performance within the classroom, and feedback to senior staff when necessary. 

PAY - GBP275 - GBP350 per week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
