The Role
This full-time position would suit somebody who thrives in a structured yet rewarding environment and enjoys helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising classes during teacher absences
- Delivering pre-planned learning activities
- Maintaining positive behaviour expectations
- Encouraging learners to remain engaged throughout the school day

- Contributing to a calm and purposeful learning environment
About the Setting
The setting supports children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, communication differences, social, emotional and mental health needs, and associated learning difficulties.

Candidate Requirements
Previous experience within education, care, youth work, coaching, mentoring, or residential support would be highly beneficial; however, individuals with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people are strongly encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
