Are you looking to get into working within schools but don't have a QTS?

 

We have opportunities for passionate and reliable individuals who want to work as a cover supervisor within mainstream secondary schools within the Tamworth area.

Be autonomous over the hours you work and apply today to work as a cover supervisor with Teaching Personnel. The hours are flexible and can work around your busy lifestyle.

 

We are seeking individuals who:

- have previous experience working within schools or childcare

- feel confident delivering pre set lessons

- can manage a class of up to 30 students effectively

- can keep children on task and in a safe learning environment

- can support children with understanding their work, where necessary

- is a positive and approachable presence within a secondary school classroom

- will be pro active and hard working and make a strong, positive impression from day 1

The role of the cover supervisor is to ensure the students have some continuity in their learning, in the absence of the class teacher.

Whilst you are not there to directly teach them, you are there to support them and ensure they are completing tasks to the best of their ability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
