COVER SUPERVISOR OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE- SEPTEMBER 2026- MAINSTREAM SECONDARY SCHOOL- TAMWORTH (B77)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school based in the heart of Tamworth, Staffordshire to appoint reliable and experienced cover supervisors to work on a flexible basis.

What are the finer details of the role?
Location: Tamworth (B77)
Hours: Flexible
Rate of pay: £100-125 per day (dependent upon experience)
Weekly pay- you will get paid every Friday!
Ideal Person Specification
-Previous experience working as a cover supervisor, HLTA or TA
- Previous experience working within education or childcare
- Confident classroom presence and ability to lead classes effectively
- Professional and reliable individual
- Confidently manage classroom behaviour, keeping children on task at all times
- Ability to use own iniative and be pro active
What does the role entail?
- Able to follow pre-set planned work to a high standard
- Lead classes, managing classroom behaviour, keeping disruption to a minimum
- Communicate effectively with staff members and students
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Leave classrooms in a clean, tidy and safe manner
- Communicate effectively with staff members to raise any concerns or highlight positive wins
- Be committed to safeguarding at all times
- Always follow the schools' policies and procedures at all times ( you may be going into different schools in the area, please familiarise yourself with the schools policies when you attend!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
