Cover Supervisor – Sunderland Secondary Schools
Competitive Daily Rates, Flexible, ASAP Start

Teaching Personnel has immediate Cover Supervisor opportunities across secondary schools in Sunderland. If you're confident in a classroom, reliable, and looking for flexible work that fits around your life, this is a straightforward role with consistent demand across the area.

No planning, no marking — you deliver pre-set work, keep students on task, and build familiarity with a range of Sunderland schools over time. Graduates and those with existing school experience are both welcome.

What the role involves:

  • Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 and delivering pre-set work
  • Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom environment
  • Following school procedures and feeding back to staff after each lesson
  • Adapting to different schools and year groups at short notice

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in any discipline or prior experience in a school setting
  • Confident, reliable, and professional in a classroom environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
