Cover Supervisor

Location: Runcorn, Cheshire
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Flexible

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team in a secondary school setting in the Runcorn area. This role involves supervising classes across Key Stages 3 to 5, ensuring a positive learning environment and maintaining classroom discipline in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour.
  • Support students across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Provide personalised support and adapt strategies to meet individual student needs.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students.
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to support diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A passion for education and supporting young people.
