COVER SUPERVISOR- SECONDARY SCHOOL-RUGBY-SEPTEMBER START

 

Whether you're seeking a full time or flexible role within schools, we are actively recruiting for a cover supervisor to support within a mainstream secondary school based in Rugby.

As a cover supervisor, you will be there to fill in, in the absence of the class teacher, providing support and continuity of learning for the pupils.

 

Whilst you are not expected to be an expert with subject knowledge, you are there to deliver the pre-set materials, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students are on task throughout your lesson.

 

Finer Details:

- Hours: Flexible/Full Time

- Location: Rugby, Warwickshire (CV22)

- Rate of Pay: £100-125 (per day, dependent on prior experience)

 

What is expected of you to succeed in this role?

- Follow pre set lesson plans

- Confidently deliver the lesson to a range of classes and year groups

- Keep children engaged and on task within your lesson

- Maintain a strong classroom presence, commanding the room and setting expectations of the pupils

- Provide a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for the pupils

- Respond to pupil queries and escalate anything appropriately, if necessary

- Leave the classroom, clean and tidy

- Remain committed to safeguarding at all times, following the schools policies & procedures

 

Who are we looking for?

- Individuals with a passion for education

- People who have had previous experience in a similar role or within education/childcare

- Someone who can commit to a full time role or can be available for flexible cover up to 5 days per week

- Confident, professional and reliable individuals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
