Job description

We are seeking to appoint a confident, enthusiastic and highly motivated Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people and committed to maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour.

The successful candidate will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain engaged in learning activities and continue to make progress. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared work, managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive and productive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff, and the confidence to manage classes across a range of subjects. Previous experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring or supervisory capacity would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
