Cover Supervisors – Secondary (KS3 & KS4)

Leicester & surrounding areas

 

currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers or experienced school staff looking for flexible work within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 settings.

We have day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available starting immediately.

 

The Role:

  • Supervise whole classes during teacher absences

  • Deliver pre-set work across KS3 and KS4

  • Maintain strong behaviour management in line with school policies

  • Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged with learning

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson

You will not be required to plan lessons, but confidence leading a classroom and managing behaviour is essential.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people (school, tutoring, coaching, youth work or similar)

  • Be confident managing behaviour in a classroom setting

  • Be adaptable, proactive and professional

  • Hold a degree (desirable but not essential)

  • Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
