Job description

Looking for Cover Supervisor opportunities across Durham? Do you have the confidence and commitment to make a real difference in young people's learning journeys? This role might be perfect for you!

Secondary schools throughout the Durham area are actively seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to become part of their educational teams starting September 2025.

We welcome applications from seasoned Cover Supervisors wanting to expand their portfolio as well as new graduates ready to build meaningful classroom experience.

Currently, we're sourcing motivated, reliable, and compassionate professionals throughout the greater Durham region. Those selected will play a crucial role in maintaining excellent educational standards and inspiring students when their usual teachers are unavailable.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Demonstrable background working alongside children or teenagers within UK educational settings
  • Proven classroom management and behavioural guidance capabilities
  • An innovative and dynamic approach to supporting student learning
  • Authentic commitment to pupil wellbeing and adherence to child protection protocols
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and reliability
  • Established experience facilitating lessons across UK secondary education environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
