A secondary school in the central Manchester area is looking for a Cover Supervisor to work on a full time basis covering lessons. This role requires an individual/graduate who is confident and has any previous experience or working with young people or students, in a secondary school, primary school or youth work setting. The successful graduate will be motivated and able to converse, liaise and engage with people of all ages including pupils aged 11 – 16 and fellow colleagues and teachers.
Highlights of the cover supervisor role:

- Pay range will be between GBP1300 - GBP1400 per month (depending on previous experience working in a secondary school)
- Gain valuable experience working in a secondary school setting covering lessons as an unqualified teacher

The role of a cover supervisor is to deliver pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher. The role commands a certain level of flexibility as you may be delivering and supervising classes varying in size, ability and age. The successful cover supervisor could be covering a range of subjects giving you amazing experience for a future as a teacher.
This school is located very centrally, a short walk away from the central train stations. It is on the Metrolink tram line making it very easy to access for those who live nearby in the central/South Manchester area.

This role will suit any recent graduates or those with prior experience of engaging with young adults aged 11 – 16. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
