Cover Supervisors Needed – Bury Area
Location: Secondary Schools across Bury
Start Dates: ASAP and September 2025
Role Type: Full-Time / Flexible Supply Work
Pay: £89 – £100 per day

Are you confident managing a classroom and passionate about supporting young people in their education?

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisors for a range of secondary schools in the Bury area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong behaviour management skills who are looking to gain valuable experience in schools, whether you're available immediately or seeking a full-time role starting in September 2025.

About the Role:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment by managing classroom behaviour, providing general support to students and school staff, supervising a variety of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4, and working on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis.

We’re Looking For:

  • We are looking for individuals with previous school-based experience or experience working with young people, strong behaviour management skills, the ability to travel to different schools in the Bury area, and a reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable attitude.

Requirements:

  • To be considered for this role, you must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one), provide two recent and relevant references, and have the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
