This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience prior to considering a career in teaching.

- Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
- Covering classrooms in the absence of a teacher.
- Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas
Our client secondary school is based in Bury and is currently looking for additional members of staff to support within a variety of departments. A cover supervisor position is the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses. This position is also perfect for candidates who are looking for flexible work, alongside another role or current course.
Within this role the successful applicants will be expected to cover pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers. All the work will be provided and the incoming candidate will simply be expected to supervise the lesson and ensure all pupils are completing the set work. It will also be important to support students who require additional support across a range of subjects.
Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education or transferrable skills from a similar role. Any experience with learning or behavioural difficulties will also enhance your application however, this is not essential.
Our client school is located in Bury with access from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and central Manchester via the M62 and A58. For non-drivers, the school can be accessed by a number of public transport links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
