Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting multiple Cover Supervisors to work within a secondary school in BL4.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates, aspiring teachers or anyone looking to gain valuable experience working in a secondary school.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes when their usual teacher is unavailable, ensuring students remain focused and continue with the work provided.

Duties will include:

• Supervising classes across different subjects
• Delivering pre-set work provided by teaching staff
• Supporting students with their learning
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive environment
• Ensuring students remain on task
• Providing feedback to teaching staff where required
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

Who We're Looking For

Previous experience in a school is beneficial but not essential. We are particularly interested in graduates, aspiring teachers and candidates with experience working with young people.

• Organised and adaptable
• Comfortable working across different subjects
• Passionate about supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
