Are you confident managing a classroom?

 

Teaching Personnel are seeking confident and reliable individuals to work on a full time and/or flexible basis in one of our mainstream secondary schools based in the B37 area of Birmingham.

 

If you have had recent experience working as a cover supervisor, HLTA or TA, we want to hear from you!

We actively encourage recent university graduates to apply for this role too, who want to gain invaluable experience within the classrom without the responsibility of planning & marking.

 

Important details:

Location: Birmingham, B37

Hours: Full time/flexible

Rate of Pay: £100-135 (per day, dependent upon experiences)

Start Date: ASAP

 

Our ideal applicant will:

- have a university degree (minimum requirement is a Maths & English GCSE)

- have recent, relevant experience within schools

- have full, flexible availability

- be confident managing classroom behaviours and be a positive classroom presence

- have relevant experience working with children and young people in other settings such as childcare, summer camps etc

- have relevant experience supporting children with special educational needs

 

You will be responsible for:

- following pre-planned lessons accurately, adhering to timings

- delivering engaging lessons of various subjects across the national curriculum

- managing classroom behaviours effectively

- following the schools policies and proecdures

- maintaining a commitment to safeguarding at all times, escalating any concerns appropriately, according to schools policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
