Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Full-Time)
Location: Birmingham, B30
Start Date: September 2025

Teaching Personnel is seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work full-time in secondary schools across the B30 area of Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff looking to gain classroom experience.

Role Details:

  • Full-time role (Monday to Friday during school hours)

  • Supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure tasks are completed

  • Opportunities for long-term and ongoing work

Requirements:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students (in any capacity)

  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills

  • Adaptability and confidence in leading a class

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
