Computer Science & ICT Teacher – Secondary School Ilford East London
We are working with a fantastic inclusive mixed secondary school in Ilford East London. Who are seeking a new Computer Science & ICT Teacher to start ASAP. The school goes beyond education in the classroom and ensure that all pupils have access to a wealth of enrichment activities both in school and on educational visits. With an extensive enrichment programme consisting of online societies, clubs and events provide their pupils with opportunities to embrace challenges. Remarkable talents and aspirations from pupils inspire the whole school community.

The school aspires to helps students develop problem-solving skills, design and program systems and understand the power and limitations of human and machine intelligence, so that they can be part of shaping the future. the curriculum has been designed to visit seven key domains throughout their journey: Algorithms, Programming constructs, Problem solving, Networks, hardware, Data representation and Digital literacy. Having a strong understanding of all seven domains will allow for confident computer scientists, ready to tackle real would issues computationally.
Requirements
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
- Available to work 5 days a week
- Committed to high quality planning and creative teaching and learning with a clear vision for ongoing assessment and feedback to facilitate continuous progress
- Able to work collaboratively to help deliver an outstanding curriculum to our students
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or Teaching qualification
- The successful candidate will teach Computer Science from KS3 - KS5, and ICT from KS3 - KS4.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
